		<description>Thanks for the overview of twitter.  I think it's relevant for the majority of sales people.  Unfortunately most sales people see the world as their billboard, this includes not just web based networking tools but real live in-person events as well.  They show up, verbally spam people they meet, and leave disappointed because they didn't get anything.

Too many people see twitter as a "what I am about" tool. That's a billboard.  It is supposed to be a "how can I help, connect, and contribute tool." Sales people with the right intent and attitude can use twitter, facebook, and linkedin and generate business by contributing to a community, becoming referable, and thinking big picture and long-term.

I wrote a review of twitter this week and it provides a contrary view to your review, if you could post a response Timothy your input would be greatly appreciated.
